DINOPAY is a cloud-based mobile payment platform, specifically designed for the retail fuel purchase experience. Among other features, DINOPAY will allow you to buy gas and make in-store purchases using only your mobile device - no need for cards, swipes, or paper receipts.
The first time you open DINOPAY on your mobile device, you should be taken to the Log In / Create Account page. Choose Create Account.
The New Account page will appear. Enter your email address (preferably one which you can access from your mobile device) and enter your desired password (minimum 4 characters), verify your password, then choose Create.
On the next page, enter your mobile number in order to verify your account, then choose Set Mobile Number.
On the following page, you will be advised that a verification code has been sent to your mobile device. (You mobile device must be capable of sending and receiving text messages to use DINOPAY.) Enter that verification code on this page (or choose Didn't receive a code? in order to generate a new code) and choose Verify Code.
You will now be asked to create a 4-digit passcode. Enter and confirm the passcode on the following page, then choose Set Passcode. From this point forward, you'll enter this passcode each time you start DINOPAY. In fact, DINOPAY will now restart and ask you to enter the passcode. Enter the passcode you just created and you will be taken to the home screen of DINOPAY .
You can now use DINOPAY to locate Sinclair gas stations, but to make fuel purchases or in-store purchases, you'll need to add at least one payment account. From the home screen, choose the Settings icon. On the Settings page, under Wallet, choose Payment Accounts. The Accounts page will appear.
On the Accounts page, you will see a "+" or plus-sign symbol in the upper-right corner. Choose this and the DINOPAY credit card data entry page will appear.
You can also take the opportunity to enroll for a Sinclair Green Card by contacting Sinclair Customer Service by telephone.
On the DINOPAY credit card data entry page, you may create a payment account using any major credit card, or the Sinclair Green Card. (Debit cards, gift cards, or other types of currency may not be used to create a DINOPAY payment account.) Enter the required data from your major credit card or Sinclair Green Card and choose Save.
(NOTE: For security purposes, none of your card information will ever be stored on your phone.)
In the upper-left corner of the screen, choose < Settings, then < Back, and you will be returned to the DINOPAY home screen. Your account setup is now complete, and you may use DINOPAY to search for Sinclair stations, purchase fuel, and make in-store purchases at DINOPAY-enabled locations.
Questions About DINOPAY User Accounts:
If I have more than one funding source, how can I choose one as the default account? On the Payment Accounts screen, you will see a listing of all of the cards you have entered as funding sources. The card displayed at the top is the default source. Swipe left on any of the cards below the top card, and you can choose to make that card the new default funding source. (This change takes effect immediately.)
What if I want to delete a funding source? On the Payment Accounts screen, swipe left on any of the cards you have entered as funding sources, including the default card, and you can choose to delete that funding source from DINOPAY.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes, all DINOPAY user account information is securely encrypted, and does not contain any sensitive financial information. DINOPAY does not store any sensitive credit card information on your mobile device.
Why do I have to create a 4-digit passcode?
The passcode is used to verify your identity when logging in to DINOPAY.
Why does DINOPAY need my mobile number?
Your mobile number is used as part of the authentication process in order to confirm you have access to the associated device. After your phone number is verified, it will always be used for authentication. This also means that you will need to create a new DINOPAY user account if you upgrade to a new mobile device with a different mobile number.

hy does DINOPAY need my mobile device location?
The GPS service on your mobile device is used to help locate the closest DINOPAY-enabled stations near you, as well as to quickly identify the station where you wish to buy gas. For that reason, it is advised that you allow DINOPAY to access your mobile device's location service.
What if I forget my 4-digit passcode?
Choose Forgot Passcode? and you will be prompted to log in with your user name
and password.
What if I forget my password?
Choose Forgot Password? and you will be redirected to the Sinclair DINOPAY web site, where you will be prompted to enter the email address you used for your user name. An email with password information will be sent to
that address.
What if I forget my user name (email address)?
If you forget (or lose access to) the email address which serves as your user name, just create a new DINOPAY account using a new email address. You will be required to enter your funding source information again for the new account.
How to find gas using DINOPAY:
On the DINOPAY home screen, choose the Find Gas icon. A map screen will appear, and any Sinclair gas stations within range will be displayed.
Sinclair locations which are DINOPAY-enabled will display a price at the bottom of the DINOPAY icon. Sinclair locations which are not DINOPAY-enabled will only show the DINOPAY icon. (These locations will accept credit cards or cash, as usual.)
At the top of the screen, you can choose between a map view and a list view, in which Sinclair locations in range are displayed in list form.
To center the map on your current location, choose the triangle symbol in the lower-left corner of the screen.
To change the map style, choose from Standard, Satellite, or Hybrid from the choice boxes at the bottom of the map screen.
To filter your Sinclair location search by amenity, choose the Filtersymbol in the lower-right corner of the map screen. You can choose from any of four options:
DINOPAY (to only display stations which are DINOPAY-enabled) TRUCK STOP (to display Sinclair truck stop locations) CAR WASH (to display only Sinclair locations featuring a car wash) AIR (to display only Sinclair locations which offer tire air.)
How to Buy Gas using DINOPAY:
Pull into a DINOPAY-enabled Sinclair station and stop at an available dispenser (pump). Note the number on the dispenser.
Open the DINOPAY app and choose the Buy Gas icon.
DINOPAY will determine your location via GPS and ask for the number of the dispenser. Choose that dispenser in DINOPAY.
The dispenser will become available to you. Choose a fuel grade using the controls on the dispenser and fuel your vehicle as usual.
When you have finished fueling, put the dispenser handle back into the cradle. The dispenser will notify DINOPAY that the transaction is complete. Your receipt will be printed on paper at the pump and may be emailed to you as well, depending on your choice in DINOPAY settings.
How to buy in-store items using DINOPAY:
Bring your purchases to the cashier and ask to pay with DINOPAY.
Open the DINOPAY app and choose the Pay Inside icon.
The customer-facing screen will display a QR code. Scan the code using the camera on your mobile device.
The transaction is complete.
How to view your purchase history using DINOPAY:
Open the DINOPAY app and choose the Purchase History icon.
All of the purchases you have made using DINOPAY will be displayed. (If you have had to reset the app at any point, your purchases will be displayed from that point forward.)
General DINOPAY Information:
Can I use DINOPAY at stations other than Sinclair stations?
No, DINOPAY can only be used to locate Sinclair stations, and to make fuel and in-store purchases at DINOPAY-enabled Sinclair stations.
Can I use DINOPAY to pay for auto repairs or other services beside purchasing fuel or in-store items?
At this time, DINOPAY may only be used to purchase fuel or in-store items.
Will purchases made with my Sinclair Green Card appear in my DINOPAY purchase history?
No, only purchases made using DINOPAY will appear in the DINOPAY purchase history.
How will DINOPAY purchases appear on my credit card bill?
The will appear as they normally would if you had used that credit card alone to make the purchase.
On the DINOPAY main screen, you can perform multiple tasks, such as finding a purchase-enabled gas station, looking for stations with amenities such as a
convenience store, air/water dispenser, or car wash, review your past DINOPAY purchase history, and other functions.
Before you can add a funding source or buy gas with the DINOPAY, you must create a DINOPAY account. The first time you open the app, you will be asked to log in, or
create an account. If you have an existing DINOPAY account, enter your credentials and choose Log In. If you need to create a new DINOPAY account, choose Create Account, as shown
below.
You will then be asked to enter your telephone number. Once you do, you will receive a verification code via text message. Enter the code you received and choose
"Verify Code".
You will now be asked to create a 4-digit Passcode.
You can now add a funding source to DINOPAY, to be used at purchase-enabled stations.
Enter the details of your funding source when prompted on the next screen.
You will receive a confirmation email to confirm that your account has been successfully created.
